(Really) Mini Haul #1 | Matalan, H&M, Boots

Matalan

Top - £10

Cut out boots - £22

So I went shopping with my Mam on Monday and our first stop was Matalan. In general I was pretty disappointed with the stock but I did pick up these two items.
I picked up this jersey material top just to make up to £30 as I could then get £5 off with a voucher. It's very lightweight and I really need more of these simple staple pieces in my wardrobe. It's nice and casual for everyday wear and is longer at the back so it covers my bum when I wear it. They had this in a few pastel colours and I went for this pale green colour. It's a nice fresh colour for the Summer and I just preferred it to the others for some reason.
Moving on to the boots. Oh my daaaays, how gorgeous are they please?! When I saw these I got so excited, I have wanted either a pair of cut out boots or a pair of really chunky heeled boots for so so long now and I got them both for the price of one! I seriously adore these and haven't took them off since I got them home. I think they'll make any outfit look really edgy AND they give me a bit of height which is always a bonus as I am quite small.

H&M

Dress -£7.99

Lace Top - £14.99

Okay so I realise I spoke quite a lot about the Matalan items so I will try to keep this short and sweet. I needed a plain dress that I can throw on throughout the summer so I went for this one from H&M. I wanted something loose so that I can feel comfortable during the day and I went for the pale grey colour to keep cool when the sun decides to shine!
Then I found this little lacey gem which was fairly cheap for what it is I think! I saw something similar in M&S when my Mam was looking for clothes and it was double the price. I think it's really cute and can easily be dressed up on a night out or just worn casually with a pair of jeans through the day.

Boots

So I just picked up the one thing in Boots as I am pretty short on cash at the moment and I had been naughty enough buying all of the above. My skin has been pretty bad in terms of acne recently and I watched a video by Tanya Burr who recommended Simple products. I've never used a toner before but from what I've heard adding a toner into my daily routine should really help clear my skin up. This facial toner only cost me £2.99 and I may do a review on it if I notice any significant difference in my skin.

That is it for my haul. There wasn't much in it and somehow I have managed to babble quite a bit so I apologise for that! I also apologize for the sizing of these photographs, for some reason it won't let my make them any bigger. I hope you can still make out what each product is like!

Hope you enjoyed this post anyways,
Lots of Love

30 Day Snap #19 | Sky Go

Hi guys, hope you are all having a good day today. I was off work today and decided to make the most of the good weather and lie in my back garden to try and get a wee bit of a tan. Unfortunately, hayfever is an absolute bitch and after an hour of constant sneezing (mm, beautiful I know) and eye rubbing I reverted back to bed and made the most of Sky Go. I'm really impressed with Sky Go actually, there are some pretty decent films on there. Today I watched Wanderlust and Friends with Benefits.
Lots of Love,

30 Day Snap #18 | Workin' on ma s***

So for some reason I can't get this photo to rotate so we'll just all have to roll with the fact it's the wrong way round. Yesterday wasn't a particularly interesting day for me, hence the not particularly interesting photograph of my work uniform. I got up, went to work, returned from work, ate, watched tele and went to bed. LIVING THE DREAM GUYS. Hope you had a better day than I did, post your blogs below so I can check out your posts :)

30 Day Snap #17 | Making Lists

So the list making has started! I tend to make lists every day but this is a pretty important one as I will be moving away from home in September to go to University in Manchester. I'm so so excited to get there but I'm also really nervous. I don't know how I'm going to cope without my family right by my side, they are such an important part of my life as you can imagine and this year has been challenging and tough for us all in many ways. Yesterday I started making lists of what I need to buy for my new home, eek!
Hope everyone's week has started off well, post your blogs below so I can check out your posts.

30 day snap #16 | More cuteness

30 day snap #15 | Nothing Beats a Loving Family

Okay apologies again for being so terrible at this 30 day snap! I swear this time it's not actually my fault. My laptop decided to have a break down and when I thought I was posting from my phone it turns out none of the posts were actually publishing, argh! Anyhoo, last week my Aunty came to visit from London, bringing my beautiful little cousin with her. I took this photo on Saturday and it is just far too cute! This is my little cousin and my older brother. I love my family to the moon and back and photos like this make me so happy!
Lots of love,

30 day snap #14 | Don't mind if I daiquiri

Excuse the poor camera quality! Today I went for lunch and cocktails with my Aunty who has been visiting this week and chose to have a raspberry daiquiri. There's not much to say other than mmmmmm, please sir, can I have some more?! Too good.
Lots of love,

30 day snap #13 | Because we could

So today I was lucky enough to receive a free ticket to see Bon Jovi at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland. I found out an hour before the concert started so it was a bit of a mad rush but I am so so glad I made it. Ive had a brilliant night after a not so brilliant day, and well I can't complain about a free ticket that should have cost me £65!
Hope you've all had a good day,

30 Day Snap #12 | Finally found my wings

So I've been looking for a new phone case for a while now and haven't managed to find anything that sort of 'jumped out at me' if you know what I mean. Until today. I came across this little cutie in H&M today and I'm loving it! It's the first gel like case I've had on my phone and it's such a nice texture and just so damn pretty. I'm rather chuffed with it, and for £3.99 (or 4 I can't remember and have already thrown the packaging out, oops!) it's a bit of a bargain don't ya think?!
Hope everyone is having a good day and woo, I'm finally up to date with my 30 day snap!
Speak tomorrow :)
Lots of Love,

30 Day Snap #11 | Summer night sky

I took this photo walking home from my bus stop at about 9 after work last night. One of the best things about summer is the light nights, I don't know what it is but they just make me feel happy. Doesn't summer have this effect on  people? Its all smiles an sunshine, pub just gotta love it.
Lots of love,

30 Day Snap #10 | I need a haircut

Bit of a boring one but I thought my collar and necklace combo was pretty cute this day. Ignore my horrible split ends, please.
On this note, can anyone recommend any hair strengthening products? I'm in serious need of some help.
Lots of Love,
Hannah X

30 Day Snap #9 | Bed = Heaven

Okay so I must apologise for this pretty crappy picture but I took it after working until after midnight on Sunday for stock take. I was pretty tired to say the least and took this snap when I finally made it home. I don't think I've ever been happier to finish a shift and crawl into bed, late shifts at work are not my friends.
Doing the 30 day snap and doing a better job than I am? Let me know in the comments so I can check out your posts.
Lots of love,

30 day snap #8 | Do you want to go to the seaside?

Hi guyyyys! Okay so I've been a TERRIBLE blogger this week but unfortunately my laptop had a breakdown and I've been working crazy long hours at work and up until this point I've had no time to sort myself out. Good news is I've still been snapping away everyday and have some photos to share with you guys. This photo was taken on Saturday when I went to a concert at an ampitheatre. I've been helping promote a festival that will be happening on the 4th August in South Shields (Newcastle) called Bernicia. It's going to be a really cool event showcasing a heap of local talent, and on Saturday I was out leafleting on this glorious evening and took this snap of the Beach at around 9 I clock. Ain't it beautiful?!
Lots of love,

30 Day Snap #7 | Candy Crushing

So this morning I finally gave in and downloaded the Candy Crush app onto my Mam's new iPad and it's safe to say I am already addicted. Why did I do this to myself? I have literally spent hours playing on this today and I am loving it. Hope you all had a lovely day and have an exciting weekend ahead.

30 Day Snap #6 | Home to steak

Okay so not the best photo today, but I really didn't have much to show for my day as it was spent at work. I did however come home to steak, so can't complain too much. Hope you had a bit more of an exciting day than I did. Doing the 30 Day Snap too? Let me know in the comments, I'd love to hear from you.
Lots of Love,

30 Day Snap #5 | Birthday Wishes

The best bit about birthdays eh? Haha, I'm kidding (kind of). Today was the birthday of my very wonderful Mam, obviously she isn't actually 21 today but she would certainly like to think so. Had a lovely evening watching her opening cards and gifts, and it's safe to say I enjoyed a slice or two, or three of this bad lad of a cake. Mmmmmm. How was your day? Are you doing the 30 Day Snap too? Leave me a comment so I can check out your pictures, I love finding new blogs to read.

Also, I've joined up to Bloglovin, so go ahead and give me a follow on there if you fancy keeping up to date with my posts. thanks a million!

30 Day Snap #4 | Brit-icano

Clearly we weren't ready for this photo at all but I actually think it's pretty cute. I'm a firm believer that no photograph beats a natural photograph and I love how happy me and my friend look here. Looking at it, it is pretty random that we are stood in front of a British flag with Mexican hats on but that just sums us up, we are definitely far from normal!
Are you doing the 30 day snap too? Let me know in the comments below!

OOTD #3 | Summer Days

 Top - Zara | Skirt - Topshop | Necklace - Accessorize

Just a simple, summery outfit today. I had a couple of friends round to sunbathe in the garden today and this is what I decided to throw on. As you can probably tell my ever so pale skin is in serious need of some sunlight so I cracked out as much leg as I could! I actually bought this skirt last summer when I was a bit skinnier and if I was buying it now I would probably get the size bigger as this one is pretty damn short, but I still get plenty of wear out of it (usually with tights). Strangely enough I have the opposite problem with this top. I love the colour of it and the tassel feature on the back is so unique but my only issue with it is that it's a little too big and falls down a bit at the front, bearing a bit too much cleavage, eek.
Anyhoo, hope everyone has enjoyed some sun today and that you like this outfit. Let me know what you think.
Lots of love,
Hannah X

OOTD #2 | Pastel Wings

Top - Miss Selfridge | Jeans - Topshop

So unfortunately my full length shot of this outfit is coming up as a 'file error' on my camera and I currently have no make up on and shower hair so can't retake the photo. This is what I wore for a meal and cocktails with the girls from work last night. I bought this top in a Miss Selfridge sale a while back for £10, an absolute bargain. I love the colours in it and the floaty bat wing makes me feel all hippy like and summery. I paired it up with my Joni jeans from topshop, they are so comfy and stretchy and since I bought them about a month ago I've barely taken them off! Unfortunately I have got a click in one of the legs and have no idea how, but i'll try and sort that out asap. Hope you like this look.
Lots of Love,
Hannah X

30 Day Snap #3 | Summer Wine

So since this version of Summer Wine by Lana Del Rey and Barrie James O'Neill was uploaded to YouTube back in April I have been absolutely obsessed with it. Today the sun was shining and I immediately had this playing, everything about it is just perfect. I'm a massive Lana Del Rey fan and well this song is simply beautiful. If you haven't yet heard it, click here. The video is so simple and understated and just adds to the amazingness of this. SO MUCH LOVE.
Hope you enjoy :)
Lots of Love,

30 Day Snap #2 | Reunited and it feels so good

First of all apologies for the delay on this post! I had a very busy day yesterday and didn't get a chance to upload this on time, sorrrrry. This photo was taken before a last minute night out to make the most of having Kate (my friend in the middle) home for the Summer, as she goes to University in Nottingham. Words can't describe how happy it makes me when all of my friends come home from Uni, life just gets so much better when they are around. (I'm a soppy git, I know)

Are you doing the 30 day Snap too? Let me know below, I'd love to check out your posts.

30 Day Snap #1 | Emotional Goodbye's

Today's snap is of a postcard from a very good friend of mine, Hannah. I've worked with her for just about 2 years now and am very sad to see her leaving but I cannot express how proud I am of the girl and everything she is achieving. It is truly inspiring to see people you love living their dreams and being so successful, I can only hope to follow in her footsteps some day.

Get involved in the 30 day snap! I'm already loving this challenge, it is such a good idea. Read about it here.
